Tutorial - Korean Ulzzang Makeup

Korea~ talk about korea.. there's always something special about it. Korea nowdays become one of the trendsetter in the world in terms of many aspect. for example KPOP, Drama, Fashion, Makeup, and Tourism. Who didn't know about korea now, esp Kpop and Drama .. kkkk~

We will talk about the specific topic which is Korean Makeup. Korean people usually more focusing on the healthy glowing skin and natural makeup, also their intention is to achive a cute look. One of the makeup style that korean people like is the Ulzzang style. Ulzzang in korean means "best face", which dedicated to the person who had a pretty/handsome face and usually they had a popularity in real life/social media, becomes a trensetter and idol although they are not an idol. Ulzzang has its main characteristic, which is "big eyes" yet "cute" (or we can called it with aegyo) but still natural. they usually used circle lense to make their eyes look more bigger and also the eyebag. Their makeup look is followed by their fashion which inspired by the trend, that's why Ulzzang people has a taste and worth to be a trendsetter.

Today, i'm going to share my tutorial about how to look like an Ulzzang. This look is based on my analysis about the main focus of the Ulzzang makeup in my perception. Want to know how i create this look? Then keep reading guys............

S T E P : 

1. I start with makeup base to keep the makeup stay longer and gives you a natural glow effect. I'm using Etude House Face Conditioning.

2. Apply a BB Cream that one shade lighter than your actual skin tone to brighten your face. I prefer using BB cream for this look rather than a foundation to give a natural finish. I'm using Etude House Precious Mineral BB cream cotton fit in shade Light Beige.

If you have an area that not covered by the bb cream, go apply your creamy concealer under your eyes, side of the mouth, and the dark spot area.

I skip apply my Powder to maintain the glowy effect from the bb cream.

3. Next step is the brows. Start to create a straight line and frame your brows using your brow pencil (i'm using Etude House drawing eyebrow in shade Dark brown) and then fill it in. please avoid to create an arched brows to maintain a cute and innocent look. After that apply your brow mascara one shade lighter than your brow pencil (i'm using Etude House brow mascara).

4. The fun part! Eye makeup... hihi >< 

First apply your eyeshadow base all over your lids (I'm using Urban Decay primer potion in shade original).

Then apply shimmery white eyeshadow all over your lid as the base colour and dont forget your inner corner and half under eye (i'm using Etude House Look at my eyes single eyeshadow in shade Platinum).

Apply matte dark brown color on the outer V of the lid and blend it out downward the eyes and create a wing as the guide line for your eyeliner later on, also apply it on the outer part of your under eyes as well and connect to the wing (I'm using Urban Decay Naked Basics palette dark chocolate).

Line the eye using matte black eyeshadow following the eyeliner and creates a wing downward based on the chocolate color that we've just applied. and connect the wing with the under eye as well. (I'm using Urban decay naked basics palette black).

Apply white glitter liner at the inner corner and the half under eye to create an aegyo effect. (I'm using Etude House Tear Drop Liner).

To enhance the eye makeup, strengthen the eyeliner using black liquid eyeliner on the top of the black eyeshadow. (I'm using Etude House Oh My Liner in shade Black).

Final touch, curl your lashes and apply your favorite mascara. (I'm using Benefit They're Real Mascara).

5. Choose soft natural coral blush colour and apply it on your cheek. (I'm using Coastal Scents 10 Blush Color #Coral)

6. Final Step... Create a gradation lips. First apply pink coral liptint all over the lips. (I'm using Etude House Color Lipsfit Fantasy Fit Pink). Then Apply red coloured tint on your inner lips (I'm using Peripera Peri's tint water Cherry Juice). And finally apply clear lipgloss on the top (I'm using Etude House Pink Tonic Lip Gloss).

AND YOU ARE DONE~!

OOTD - Soft Blooming Nature

Hello gorgeous.. What a bright sunny day >.< the weather was neither hot nor rain, it just nice for outing! yeah... what a perfect combination with nature. i decided to go to the park to take a breath of nature that i rarely do this past year T_T how i missed nature environment so much...... hahha..

Nature.. we can describe it with calm environment, colourful with many kind of flowers, blue sky, etc. Inspired from that, my outfit today i picked soft coloured skirt - baby pink with black and white flowers pattern sweater with a lil touch of turquoise necklace and nail polish. This outfit is simple and soft yet colourful for Park outing. What do you think guys?

What is on my Makeup Bag?

Hello ladies.. 

long time no see.. what have you been? i'm sorry i've been so busy these couple of month coz of my final project and my 3rd semester is already end! *so happy*

Actually, i didn't have any preparation of what things that i should post on my blog. I'm working on my next post so right now i just came back with my daily routine that i'm so excited to share with you guys, just to keep in touch with you so i finally write again in this post although i'm preparing for my next post for sure. ^^

well, for those who curious with my lil makeup bag that i bring it all the time stand by on my travel bag, today i'm gonna open it up and see what's become my recent daily product that i always bring it everyday and share with all of you guys.

I never forget to bring this lil buddy everywhere i go, in case i need some touch up! haha.. you know that the weather in malaysia is quiet hot and dry so that it was necessary for me to bring some touch up makeup on my bag.

here's the thing that i usually bring it everyday....

Yeah so that is what on my makeup bag..

As you know that hot and dry weather could make your face super duper oily and melted all your makeup quickly, especially if you have super oily skin that will be your biggest enemy! >.<

bring some touch up helps you to maintain your look and at least control the oil on your face.

1. EM Cosmetics - Love me for me compact powder (in shade #Ivory1)

This powder is totally amazing! i've been using it alot this past week and it helps me to control my oil. Actually i have a combination skin which i had an oily skin on my Tzone area and the other area was normal. i just applied this powder around my Tzone area if i need a touch up during the day. it creates a light coverages and great oil control which is i loved, for natural finish! This powder is good as a Touch up and Finishing powder after using foundation to set everything nicely on my face. But, since i prefer to use a loose powder after my foundation so that this powder i just used for touch up only ^^

2. Urban Decay - Naked Basics Palette

OH MAN! this one already have many good review out there and you guys already know about this product. Yeah, compare with my entire time favorite Naked 1 and 3, this one is more travel friendly because the size is fit perfectly on my travel makeup bag and it contain all basics shades that i usually used for everyday look. 

3. Mizzu - Perfect wear waterproof eyeliner pen (in shade #black)

Well, i'm kind of eyeliner girl which can't left my room without an eyeliner! haha.. the eyeliner is totally my go to product that i must wear everyday or when i go out. I have a lot of eyeliner types but then i feel so pressured to wear an high brand eyeliner :( i tried once, my stila eyeliner pen that i used it everyday.... then it dried after 2 months only! T_T then i think that i should find an afordable brand for daily use because i dont want to spend more money every 2 months to buy a new eyeliner with very expensive price. I found this product is works well for me and never dissapointed me. It actually a local brand from Indonesia *i believe* because the factory was in indonesia and it made in indonesia too.. sooooooo i'm so curious and give it try for 1 pcs first. and it was super duper awesome! it dried quickly after i applied it (less than 10 sec!) lol.. also it waterproof and stay all day. just i need to re-touch up just a lil bit after prayer. Basically ... i love this eyeliner and i have stock like about a dozen, just because i dont have time to buy it again from indonesia and i need the new eyeliner every 2 months T_T lol

4. Benefit - They're Real Mascara (Travel size)

This is my holy grail mascara all the time! i love the way it lengthen my lashes and it last all day long! But it very hard to remove :( (never mind! i have my mascara remover that works well to remove this mascara just once swap! lol) by the way.. besides it so difficult to remove using the regular makeup remover doesnt mean that i dont like this mascara. I DO! like seriously, i have a very short lashes and it goes downwards on my eyes, this mascara is works well to help me solve that problem~! kkkk... lucky me, i got this travel size as a gift from sephora while they launced They're Real Push-Up Liner *so happy!*.. haha.. 

5. Peripera - Peri's Tint Water (In shade #PinkJuice2)

This one also travel size that i got on watson malaysia and about RM18 *if i'm not mistaken* at that time. I love the color! it is very pretty for gradation lips, i usually applied on my inner lips only for the gradation effect. it last longer than my etude house liptint and the color is pop than my benefit benetint. that's why i love this liptint. at least this tiny thing can hold on my lips almost 4hours and ++ if i drink eat much #LOL

6. NYX - Butter Gloss (In shade #Peaches and Cream)

I love creamy and glossy finish rather than matte finish coz my lips dried quickly and it was so bad when i use matte lipstick on my lips. haha XD This gloss is my go to gloss everyday coz of the color is very natural and suits with my everyday look. 

7. Maybelline - Baby Lips Balm (In Shade #Cherry Kiss)

Who hate dry lips? I AM! to solve that i really need this kind of balm before i apply any lips product. I do enjoyed the EOS lipbalm which still become my favorite, but in term of the packaging this one is nicer to fit my travel bag well than eos. And the other reason that i love it has a tinted color on the balm so that it gives me a natural color *more* than the eos which more translucent.

8. Etude House - Aloha V Line Slim Maker (In Shade No.2 #Sun Pink and Cherry Brown)

This one is actually a bronzer and highlighter which i looooooveeeeee it so muuch! so saaad that i heard this product is already discontinued in korea :( OH WHY WHY WHY? T_T i really love the highlighter, it creates a glowy effect but still natural and my skin looks more healthy. also the bronzer, the color was blend naturally on my cheeks to creates the illusion of slimmer face. (COZ IM CHUBBY so i need this kind of product so muuuuchhhh! HAPPY? BYE!) kkkkk~

9. Etude House - Surprise Essence Concealer (In Shade #Light Beige)

Pimples, dark spot, eyebag, or everything that i'm scared about it will popped on my face during the day is really need to be saved by a concealer! sometimes the oil from the face can melted the makeup and those imperfections come out again. T_T i need this on my bag, i love the way it blend easily on my face and the coverage is light to medium coz the texture is very creamy and light. but as a touch up, this kind of coverage is all i need coz i still have my concealer remain on my face that not totally fades away. haha... 

10. Etude House - Drawing Eyebrow (In Shade No.3 *i forgot the shade name ><)

Simple answer and statement! I need this because brow is the frame of the face and i need to maintain how it looks. if not, it will contaminated the entire makeup look (?) DONE! hahaha.. (what the...)

11. Etude House - Styling Liner (In Shade No.2 #White)

This one actually not necessary. i rarely used this but i need it! (?) hahaha.. just in case that i creates a downwards eyeliner and want to creates a bigger eyes effect. this one also can be a highlighter for the inner corner and undereye.

12. Sephora - Fresh Breath Spray

This one is just in case i'm going to attend meeting, presentation or any specific event to make my breath keep fresh.

13. Sephora - Mini Makeup Bag

Last but not least, all of those makeup above is fit perfectly on this cute adorable mini makeup bag that i got from sephora as a gift for blackcard member. this bag is designed with the very adorable animated lips that ease me to ensure that this one is for makeup. *coz i had so many mini pouch when i'm travel makes me confused which one is for makeup, skincare, tools, etc.. hahha
